Hace unos días elpadrino me sugirió que hiciera una filmografía de las comedias de enredo de los años 30 y principios de los 40 (o screwball comedies) y aquí la tenéis. Me pareció buena idea porque se pueden descubrir algunas películas muy buenas que van más allá de la comedia clásica/romántica y aprender a amar un género. Me gustaba la idea también porque resulta un buen aliciente para diferenciar de una vez las comedias románticas de las screwball y aprender a separar los rasgos clave de cada uno de los géneros.

La filmografía aún continúa abierta, seguramente sufrirá modificaciones con el tiempo, ya que mi idea ha sido desde el principio listar películas de las que hubiera enlaces para que la filmografía fuera útil, para que sirviera para descargarlas y verlas, no para comerse las ganas. He procurado encontrar enlaces para todas y, la verdad, es que ahora mismo no pondría ni más ni menos de las que están, ya veremos dentro de un mes. Por ahora, prácticamente todas las películas citadas pueden descargarse, he logrado mi objetivo en un 95%.

Supongo que para algunas personas habrá ausencias y para otras sobrarán películas. La decisión ha sido dura, con algunas he dudado mucho y algunas han quedado fuera y otras dentro; es una lista totalmente subjetiva y adaptada a mis opiniones sobre la screwball y sus rasgos. No es nada definitivo ni me considero una experta en este tipo de películas, pero el haber visto muchas me permite hacer una criba bastante ajustada.

LOS RASGOS CLAVE DE LAS SCREWBALL COMEDIES

UNO. Las screwball-comedies (en cristiano: comedias románticas alocadas) aparecieron en Hollywood a mediados de los años 30, en plena Gran Depresión, como una forma de escape a la difícil situación socioeconómica que vivía la Unión Americana. DOS. Este tipo de comedias se caracterizan por tener una o varias de estas características: gags físicos, enloquecidas vueltas de tuerca, diálogos ingeniosos y una inclinación por la sátira social. TRES. La narrativa de las grandes screwball-comedies clásicas es incansable. La pareja protagónica (estén los dos solteros, casados o divorciados) se ve envuelta en un serie interminable de enredos. Aunque en el fondo se aman, hacen todo lo posible para demostrarse que se odian. CUATRO. Las screwball-comedies muestran una visión anárquica e irreverente de la vida doméstica y de los conflictos románticos. Su centro argumental es la batalla de los sexos y sus personajes provienen, en general, de la clase alta. CINCO. El tema principal de las comedias screwball clásicas es la amenaza del mundo masculino que representa una mujer activa y/o agresiva. El final feliz llega cuando la pareja se reconcilia, se casa o se enamora. SEIS. En muchas de las grandes screwball-comedies los papeles se invierten: la mujer es mucho más activa que el hombre, quien es un papanatas torpe e indeciso. ¿La obra maestra de esta fórmula en particular?: La Fiera de Mi Niña (Hawks, 1938), con Katherine Hepburn y Cary Grant. SIETE. Las comedias screwball han ofrecido siempre los mejores papeles a grandes actrices con talento cómico: Irene Dunne, Jean Arthur, Carole Lombard, Mirna Loy, Katherine Hepburn, Rosalind Russell, Claudette Colbert, Diane Keaton, Meg Ryan, Helen Hunt y, en México, a Miroslava, en Escuela de Vagabundos (González, 1954). OCHO. The Front Page (Milestone, 1931) –filmada de nuevo con el título Luna Nueva (Hawks, 1940)—es considerada como la primera comedia screwball. Sin embargo, el gran clásico de este subgénero es, sin duda, Sucedió una Noche (Capra, 1934), con Clark Gable y Claudette Colbert. NUEVE. Luego de las cintas de Spencer Tracy/Katherine Hepburn de los 40/50 y de Rock Hudson/Doris Day de los 50/60, el subgénero decayó hasta su renacimiento con Dos Extraños Amantes (Allen, 1977), una screwball-comedy neurótica y desencantada con un anti-galán (el propio Allen) en el papel central. DIEZ. A partir de los 80 el subgénero ha sido muy prolífico aunque en pocas ocasiones ha dado en el blanco: Harry y Sally, Mejor Imposible y ¿Tienes un e-mail? son, en todo caso, los mejores ejemplos de las últimas dos décadas.

Bueno, para el que se impresione fácilmente, diré que esta filmo también está hecha con tablas chapuceras. Más que nada porque como no sé exactamente cómo se comporta el iframe prefiero ir sobre seguro y usar métodos más comprobados y viejos. De hecho, he empezado a hacerla a las 2 de la tarde y en unas horas estaba hecha, cuestión de práctica.

Esta peli me la bajé de Karagarga el otro día por el torrent pero aún no la había puesto a compartir en Emule ni había abierto hilo. La cosa está en que por Emule no he buscado nada porque mi idea era que fueran pelis que tuvieran hilo en DXC y eso, y como todas tenían... tampoco fui capaz de encontrar el títulos de esa peli, ahora ya sé que es "Mujeres". Gracias. Ya pondré también el elink al rip que tengo yo descargado, en V.O.

A mi se me ve bien en los dos.

A mí en Firefox me desaparece el fondo blanco que tiene el html. Si lo veo como archivo independiente en el navegador se ve perfecto, pero dentro del iframe pierde el fondo, arggggg.
