Shawn is the founder of the Mesa Frozen Entree Enthusiasts Club. He has inspired this group of fanatical collectors to attempt to host the world's first Frozen Entree Enthusiasts Convention. Shawn also sings for a local punk band that has recently converted to Christian Rock as they find the Christian fans much easier to shock and impress. Milo Binder, a local Christian rock promoter and owner of an anti-abortion themed Christian cafe, assisted the band's conversion. As Shawn pursues the convention and Christian fame, Al (the bass player) pursues Shelly. Shelly is a mousy virgin who's infatuation with Shawn may be more than AL can overcome. NBT is a dark, edgy warts-and-all comedy that leaves nothing sacred.

Russian without subs. This movie is quite remarkable though, both visually and conceptually. The filmmaker tries to imagine a Soviet space mission that took (could have taken?) place in 1938, and reaches a number of human and historical insights along the way. Most of the movie is presented as if it were taken from the spy camera footage of the Soviet secret police. Note the multiple parallels with Yufit's Bipedalism...

Spring 1938. A UFO crashes in the North of Chile. A recent inquiry revealed that the object was actually a Soviet rocket. Using this discovery as a starting point, the film details the main stages of an ambitious space programme launched in the 1930s, whose goal was... the Moon. The succession of archive footage and contemporary interviews reveals a forgotten chapter in history. Pervye na lune is more than just a delightful hoax; it is also an ironic tribute to Soviet montage films and a balanced look at the process of producing heroes.

The result is stylish, sometimes very funny and ultimately affectionate toward its chosen subject. "The element of irony is very small, perhaps around 5 percent," Fedorchenko said in an interview this week. "The rest is something of an homage to the generation of our fathers or grandfathers, including their honesty, their genuine belief in an ideal."

Fedorchenko said that there was no single key to appreciating the film and that different viewers would react to it differently -- reaction to an early screening at the Star City space center outside Moscow was largely favorable, he said. But the director didn't endorse some of the terms that have been used to describe his work. "We didn't aim for mystification, but for a fantasy drama. Terms like 'postmodernism' and 'mockumentary' are not what we intended. Perhaps the genre is documentary fantasy," he said.

el link de subtitulos de forgotten silver, no da resultado, envia a un vacio, estan en algun otro lado??

alguien ha visto una peli de Chris Marke titulada "L'ambassade", es brutal. estaría entre el falso documental y el foun footage. Se trata de que el Marker dice que encontró unos rollos de película super 8 en una embajada, grabados durante los ochos días posteriores a un golpe de estado que sucedió en el país donde está la embajada. es corto, unos doce minutos. no cuento el final por si lo podeis ver alguna vez pero está bien bueno. por cierto, ¿alguien sabe si esta peli está por la mula? porque yo no la he encontrado y de verdad está muy bien.

'Get Ready to be Boyzvoiced' is a Norwegian mockumentary about a fictional boy band called Boyzvoice. Outside Norway, it has been screened multiple times on Australian television channel SBS.
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The band is a three-piece vocal group dominated by their utterly untalented lead singer M*Pete. When they are caught lip-synching before the release of their first album, scandal erupts (fed also by their manager's physically assaulting an elderly male and an elderly female member of the Salvation Army and the revelation that M*Pete's 16 year-old girlfriend is actually only 12) and they are dropped by their record company. They consider leaving the music industry, but their manager gets them a sponsorship deal with a Norwegian fish finger manufacturer. Ultimately they bounce back to fame after an appearance at the HitAwards Norwegian music awards show.

hace unos pocos días que he visto "What the bleep do we know?" (que alguien puso en este hilo) y sin pretender tampoco ser muy purista en cuanto a las etiquetas no acabo de verlo mucho como falso documental, ya que más bien parece que se trata de un docu con la ficción de la fotógrafa por el medio y que en ningún momento se pretende hacer pasar por real.
bueno si quien puso el link puede apoyar un poco más el por qué de esta peli como falso pues me gustaría saber su opinión.
