Se trata de una serie, literalmente, "de bichos" que acabo de empezar a ver, rodada y emitida en HDTV. El formato es muy adecuado para documentales de naturaleza, y para filmar algo tan pequeño como insectos da, realmente, muy buen resultado. Sin embargo, el ripeador optó por dedicar 700 MB a cada episodio (de 25'), con una resolución de 1280x720, cuando lo normal en este tipo de ripeos sería 1GB, por lo que los artefctos de compresion son inevitables en algunos planos complicados, que tampoco son muchos (y puede que más biensea cosa del divx6). El ripeo se deja ver bien y, en contrapartida al bajo Qf, se ve con total fluidez en casi cualquier ordenador, ya que la tasa de bits del video es de 3400-3900. Los 4 primeros episodios están en DivX6, el resto en XviD, el resto de las caracteristicas técnicas son prácticamene idénticas en toda la serie, así que sólo pongo abajo las interioridades de uno. Creí que era mi deber avisar que el presentador (al menos para mí) es bastante cargante, una especie de Inspector Colombo super-histriónico, vestido de intrépido explorador-entomólogo aventurero-Cocodrilo Dundee Quebecois ... narra en inglés con fuerte acento franco-canadiense. Habrá que acostumbrarse.
¿Insectia 2? ¿e Insectia 1? Lo que vi por ahí de la primera entrega era una versión 1080p de 3-4 GB por episodio, así que lo dejé correr. Si aparece algo mejor se postea listos. Insectia es de 1999, pero de está segunda parte, buscando un poquito, no he encontrado la fecha. La emisión original es de, creo, Discovery Channel Canadá.
nota: con un AMD XP 1.6 GHZ 32-bits rueda con total fluidez, los que tengan miedo a la HD por aquello de no tener un procesador de 30 núcleos no tienen por qué preocuparse.
