Synopsis: Chen Zheng was sent to Japan by his master so that he may learn new skills that may help the Chinese against the Japanese. In Japan he receives word that his master was killed in a duel against a samurai back in Shanghai. Chen returns home to pay his respects to his master and to get to the bottom of what happened to his master. After a quick fight with the head samurai Chen was convinced there is no way that his master could've lost. The Japanese military soon become involved to discredit Chen and his school, also internal conflict between Chen and his masters son risk to tear apart the martial arts school.

Que película, una de las escenas de acción que mas recuerdo, en el gimnasio japones cuando jet li se enfrenta a la escuela entera.

Una escena impresionante! Yuen Wo-ping en su máxima expresión.

Gran película, sin duda. Si no me equivoco, se estrenó por aquí con el horroroso título Jet Li es el mejor luchador. Con un poco de suerte aparece un audio para sincronizar, o unos subtítulos en español.

Esta película ha sido editada de distintas formas y publicada bajo distintos títulos. Por ejemplo existe como: Jet Li's Revenger, Jet Li's Fighting Fist of Fury o Jet Li Attacks the Japanese. Todas estas han sido versiones mutiladas. Luego Disney adquirió los derechos y la distribuyó como Fist of Legend. La versión Disney solo tiene el doblaje en inglés y también se la edito y recortó, aunque mucho menos que a las ediciones previas (más información sobre cine asiático editado por Disney aquí).

La primer edición decente fue hecha por los frances de HK Video (y por supuesto solo con subtítulos en francés ) y mi fuente es un DVD chino de Zoke que es una copia 1:1 del francés. Hablar de los DVDs chinos de Zoke es un tema aparte, pero este en particular está intacto.

Hecha la breve reseña de la gran cantidad de ediciones que ha tenido la película, imagino que sincronizar un audio en español puede ser una gran aventura... Respecto a los subs, yo mismo estoy trabajando en ellos. En AllZine hay varios y ya hice una rápida adaptación de uno de ellos, pero no estoy conforme y estoy empezando a hacerlos de 0. Ya les voy a avisar cuando los tenga listos!
