1. I'll give you a star (1975)

A tongue-in-cheek contemplation of the role of women in the various traditional (and not so traditional) societies (albeit in a manner quite distinct from the modern Western feminism). There is a little voiceover here and there, but one thing you absolutely need to know is this little poem recited at the end of each section:
"My darling,
I'll take you to the end of the Universe,
I'll give you this star,
with perpetual light shall it shine
upon our passage to the infinite..."

2. Icarus and the sages (1976)

A poignant and sarcastic parable of the often misrepresented interaction between creative rebels and the scholarly establishment loosely inspired by the classical Greek legend. I am sure you guys (and girls) in the Romance speaking countries have an extensive knowledge of Classical Latin sayings, and this will help... And also may we all live to hear that trumpet solo...
