This "high-compression collage" by Harun Farocki delves into an unsettling incident in history. In 1944, U.S. planes flew over and photographed Auschwitz, but the pictures remained undiscovered until the 1970s. Using seemingly unrelated footage with historical film, Farocki delivers a disturbing look at World War II. 75 min. In German with English subtitles.

I've seen it and it's a very interesting film, a nice documentary collage at a slow pace. Interesting reconstruction-deconstruction of events.

Farocki es realmente increíble. Por desgracia no he podido encontrar subs por ningún lado. De todas maneras he encontrado algunas de sus pelis en la mula y las estoy compartiendo. Coloco, para contribuir al entusiasmo, las que he pillado, aparte de las arriba mencionadas, y me quedo a la espera de que algún día aparezcan los deseados y necesarios subtítulos.
