Four short films by female japanese experimental filmmaker Ayako Onishi.

Bone (18 min/Black/White)

An experimental film that takes a closer look into the twisted world of a young woman who has become obsessed over the death of her twin sister. She tries to deal with the loss in a very unusual and morbid way.

Milky Way Railroad (16 min/Black/White)

Based on the novel by Kenji Miyazawa, this film centers on the amazing journey that two young boys take on the intergalactic railroad. They learn about what it means to be alive, and also how to accept death.

Untitled (3 min/Color)

By the way, I saw the "Nokto de la Galaksion Fervojo". If anyone is also interested in this adaptation of Miyazawa's book, i sugest to download this. It's one of those amazing movies that even if we don't understand, it somehow touches us...

centurion is right... download the animation film he suggested.

starred by cats (japanese people -and me- love them), is not the typical manga film, nor a biography neither: it really respects the poetic spirit of miyazawa making brief sketches of his life and work.
