De illusionist (Jos Stelling, 1983)

Jos Stelling and Freek de Jonge wrote the script inspired by the theatre show De Tragiek (The tragedy) by Freek de Jonge. It is hard to tell the story of 'The Illusionist' -even if it is not a difficult film. Fiction and reality, dream and illusion are mixed in a puzzling way, changing from one into the other without words. Music and sounds accompany the pictures.
Right in the beginning a person peers through a halfopened door into a wardrobe. All what happens after comes out of this person's fantasy.
It is a turbulent sequence of events, bringing two brothers into focus. One pursues his ambitions while the other is finally taken to a mental hospital by his parents. Missed ambitions, lost youth, an imminent brain operation, a suicidal father, a wealthy grandfather, watched carefully by a grumpy mother -those are the ingredients of this humorous film.

Yes, i remember this was one of my earliest several posts in fileheaven.org. and i was very excited when first saw it on mule, till now, it's still among my favorite movies. but i must say i havent got full file, just about 2mb missing but it doesn't affect watch, and i used videofix fixed it. so that cause i cant reshare anymore, different size bring on different hash. if somebody got full source, then please reshare.

anyway, this is a great, fantastic, rare gem indeed! I give it 10+ point. highest recommend.

llamamiento a aquellos que tengan esta película, sacadla de los baules, por favor (especialmente pedritus, ya que es el único que se que la tiene ).

Por cierto, que vi 5 min de ppio y la abandoné xq me daba como mal rollo el personaje que aparecía... XDDD

Laurística, ¿ese link en qué idioma está? Es q a mi eso de "Rus" me suena a que está en ruso (y bajarme una película holandesa en ruso me parece demasiado surrealista, prefiero que esté en holandés), pero pregunto no vaya a ser como esas cosas de "Limited" y demás indicaciones y signifique otra cosa, y estoy aqui haciendo el tonto sin bajarla
