Voy a tirarme a la piscina de las filmografías con una cosa sencillita y simple, pero que prometo iré completando con el tiempo. Esta es la filmografía de una de las dobles parejas más famosas de la historia del cine, Basil Rathbone/Sherlock Holmes y Nigel Bruce/Dr. Watson. Es una serie de peliculas de entre una hora y hora y media, y son todo un clásico. Prometo ir completando el personaje de Sherlock Holmes con la serie de Jeremy Brett para Granada Televisión, las de Peter Cushing y las pelis más raras que haya del tipo alto del "Elemental, querido Watson".

He estado mirando más pelis de Sherlock Holmes para añadir, y creedme que no está fácil el tema. Las de Peter O'Toole estan imposibles, casi tanto como las de Peter Cushing. Las de Clive Brook, las que se hicieron antes de Basil Rathbone, tampoco es que sean fáciles fáciles. Apenas queda el Young Sherlock Holmes de Buster Keaton. La que si que tiene buena pinta es una comedia en la que Michael Caine hacía del famoso detective, y donde quedaba patente que el lumbreras era Watson. Esto parece que no va a ser tan fáicl como creíamos, compañeros, pero os agradeceré cualquier contribución para ir completando la filmo.

Perdonad que me meta, ya que que aporto más una duda antes que una solución. ¿No vais a incluir en esta filmografía, a la que me sumo totalmente por fanático de Sherlock Holmes, la serie de anime de los años 80? El papel de Sherlock Holmes lo interpreta Charlton Heston. Por el argumento parece que se trata de una adaptación de "El signo de los cuatro" o "La señal de los cuatro", una de las historias más conocidas de nuestro detective.

Lamentablemente no tengo infraestructura para ripear . Quizás en el verano esto cambie .

Perdón por estos mesecillos en blanco... tengo realmente olvidadas estas dos filmografías mías.
Bueno, respondiendo a dardo, es cierto que Crucifer of Blood, dirigida por Fraser Heston para el lucimiento de papá Charlton es una producción de la Turner para su canal TNT (actual TCM). Está pasable.
Eso sí, la que recomiendo encarecidamente es Without clues (Sin Pistas). ¡Divertidísima! A todos aquellos que os guste Sherlock y tengais espacio en vuestras vidas para la sorna sobre el mejor detective de la historia, no debeis de perderos el duelo Kingsley-Caine. ¡¡Brillante!!
En cuanto pueda, actualizo esto con todas vuestras participaciones.
