Directed by Jean Image. (more). Animated by Denis Boutin, Marcel Breuil, Pierre Watrin. (more). Written by Eraine. Originally Released on October 30, 1953. Originally Released Theatrically. Running Time: 70 minutes. Color (Technicolor) France Synopsis: Two pigeons declare their love on the towers of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. The chimeras atop the cathedral attempt in vain to frustrate their romance. The couple fly off to discover the capital and renew acquaintances with their great friend, the Eiffel Tower. It's a festival that day in Paris, where everyone celebrates by going fishing. The pigeons' nuptial ballet takes them to the edges of the Seine, where the Eiffel Tower, eager for glory and travel, wants to join in. Its size and clumsiness bring catastrophes that even bother its friend the girl pigeon. The Eiffel Tower sings of its despair and dreams of being the star of an immense ballet alongside Big Ben, the Statue of Liberty and the Tower of Pisa. In the wee hours, it's noticed that the Eiffel Tower has disappeared. The tower has gone on vacation to forget its bitterness. In a long sequence, the Eiffel Tower "fishes" the Paris subway and rediscovers the joy of living. The authorities decide to construct a new tower identical to the "runaway." Warned by its friends, the pigeons, the original Eiffel Tower takes big strides back to Paris, just in time for the President's speech... and to the cheers of Parisians.

D.A.N.O.T. Distributed by: Valoria Films Featuring: Pollux, Zébulon, Blue Cat, Margote, Father Jouvence, Azalée, Ambroise, Flapy, "Blue Voice". Directed by Serge Danot. Animated by Jean-Marc Cahier, Claude Levet. Written by Serge Danot. Originally Released on December 20, 1970. Originally Released Theatrically. Running Time: 83 minutes. Color (Eastmancolor) France Synopsis: Watched at night by his cuckoo clock, Pollux the dog dreams of his girlfriend Margote (and of sugar to crunch) when he's awakened by a light but odd noise. He gets up gently and notices, in the distant and forbidden Bois Joli (Pretty Wood), a light filtering from a supposedly disused factory. The machines turn on again, and Pollux wonders why. The next morning, his first task is to inform his friends of the event. Neither Azalée the cow, Ambroise the snail, Flapy the rabbit nor even Jouvence, the old gardener, pay attention to his story. But, in Bois Joli, a flower withers abruptly. Then a poppy grows, while a sudden flowering of cornflowers, bellflowers and other flora turn the ground blue. It's then that Margote finds in her village town an astonishing cat: a blue cat! One can guess the surprise and the joy that this spurs with Margote's friends. Driven by Zébulon to Bois Joli, they take the news enthusiastically -- except for Pollux, who anguishes over his nighttime discovery and the flowers' metamorphosis. Leaving to prowl around the mysterious factory, Pollux figures out the truth. The "Blue Voice" has decided to conquer the world. Everything threatens to turn blue: cactus, nightmares, tempests and even anger! No other color will charm the eyes. The cat passes seven blue doors and passes seven tests. He's made king. To show his power, he throws an army of factory workers at Zébulon, robs Zébulon's magic mustaches, then confines the hosts of Bois Joli in the factory's cave. Pollux remains alone, lost in a blue universe. Following advice he is given, Pollux tints himself blue. Then, frustrating the traps that set for him by the distrusting Blue Cat, he triumphs over fearsome temptation in a cell made of sugar where his hunger is put to a rough test! Adopted by the Blue Cat, Pollux is made prime minister. Both are sent to the moon by the "Blue Voice," but there, while falling in a lunar sea, Pollux loses his blue tint and reveals his true colors. A thankless scuffle bursts forth in space, in the rocket, and then in the factory between the Blue Cat and Pollux -- to the point that the furious "Blue Voice" scuttles the factory and destroys his own power. The hosts of the Bois Joli can regain their lucky garden. After this adventure, the Blue Cat turns red in embarrassment, then becomes white like an ordinary cat. At last, the former Blue Cat wins the pardons of Pollux and his girlfriend.

Running Time: 74 minutes. Color (Eastmancolor) France Synopsis: Somewhere in the galaxy, a spacecraft, "Le Cosmos," rushes around in interstellar space, pursued by mysterious vehicles. Pestered and encircled, the spacecraft falls into its enemies' hands. Only a strange being, a robot, succeeds in releasing itself from this infernal mastery. Lost in the galaxy, Pluk, the space castaway, directs itself toward the nearest planet: Earth. On this planet lives Niki, a boy genius, who's passionate about science fiction and astronautics. That day, full of enthusiasm, he explains to his girlfriend Babette and his smart dog Jupiter that he has built a craft to traverse space to research new planets. Just at this point, Pluk suddenly introduces itself to Niki. Pluk, an extraterrestrial robot endowed with extraordinary strength, assists its new friends and allows Niki's spacecraft, "l'Arago X-001," to propel itself into space. In exchange, it asks Niki to help it find its spacecraft "Le Cosmos." Chased by a mysterious vehicle, "Le Vautour," our friends are obliged to land on the Red Planet. Attracted by a mysterious force, they are made prisoners inside this phantom vessel. Jupiter delivers them, endangering its life, while destroying the conducting brain, neutralizing forever "Le Vautour," which then explodes. Once again in space, Niki, Babette, Pluk and Jupiter don't have time to rejoice at this deliverance. Their spacecraft gives distress signs, orders are no longer replied to, and the spaceship is inexorably drawn toward a strange planet, the Green Planet. The crew of the spacecraft is in danger of being crushed against the ground. Niki offers courageously to go out into space to place parachutes to slow down their fall. The spacecraft, thanks to Niki, makes a soft landing on the ground of this inhospitable planet. But Niki is blown away by the wind, and his friends leave to do his research. Niki is imprisoned by the inhabitants of the planet: bloody and voracious beings called Strions. In a cave laid out in a laboratory, Niki is rediscovered in extremis. As a ruse, Pluk and its friends succeed in embarking in their spacecraft. A battle breaks out in space, but "l'Arago X-001" gets away from the Strions. It's now that "Le Cosmos" is pinned down. After contacting its crew, our friends agree to follow it, but they fall in a trap and are thrown in prison. Judged in front of the Grand Manitou (Big Manitou), they are condemned to torture by laughter. Delivered in time, they recover "Le Cosmos," and the two spacecraft sail together towards Plukastre, the homeland of Pluk, where they are given a celebration with all the honors.

Dovidis (Pierre Neurisse), Productions du Tigre, Marubeni... Featuring: His Highness the Prince, Minoïe, Tom, Bird, Big Computer, Madame Astrac. Originally Released in 1981. Originally Released Theatrically. Running Time: 80 minutes. Color (Eastmancolor) France Synopsis: On the ocean, you can find "Les Iles Heureuses" (The Happy Isles), the littlest of which is populated by a few dozen simple, poor residents. On the biggest, rich with underground ore, His Highness the Prince reigns, in a sumptuous setting surrounded by serenading birds. But the Prince is allergic to nature. Also, the palace garden is plastic, and the birds are mechanical. The Prince is equally concerned about having an heir. Aided by the Big Computer, a sort of electronic Moloch, and by Madame Astrac, his official astrologer, he keeps the island under surveillance through his movie spy cameras to watch for any attempted revolts...and in hopes of discovering the princess of his dreams. While looking at his control screen, he spots Minoïe, a girl who harangues a group of individuals, and who advocates (though he ignores this) insubordination. Minoïe finds herself the prisoner of the artificial garden, and of the Prince, who woos her (greatly vexing the jealous astrologer)...when Tom, a young fisherman who lives on the little island, runs aground not far from the palace. A little bird- this one is genuine!- accompanies Minoïe and befriends her while shedding pollen, provoking the Prince to sneeze and interrupting his flirting. Eventually, Tom and Minoïe meet and get along...while a spycam does its work. Tom is thrown in prison. The Prince becomes so pressing that Tom decides to help Minoïe. He escapes and, after many travels, the two young people are able to take refuge on the little island. Furious, the Prince plots his vengeance. A punitive expedition is decided upon. One morning, the little island is invaded by a monstrous warship. Minoïe, wanting to save her new friends, decides to turn herself in. But upon returning to the big island to prepare for his wedding to Minoïe, the Prince finds his place occupied by his two advisors! Leaning on horoscopes and charts, the pair signal to the Prince that his decline and fall have arrived. By remote, they order his warship toward its atomic destiny. Minoïe gets Tom back. They will never leave the happy little island again.
