The Nigerian pop scene is comprised of a multifaceted combination of Afrobeat, Lagos street music, Afro-pop, and highlife music. This video showcases artists who represent all of these various genres. In doing so, the video manages to unify the disparate parts of Nigerian pop music and create a basic overview and definition of this exciting section of world music.
