On the Miranda do Douro plateau, Tiago Pereira came across stories of donkeys and traditional songs. “A kind of popular surrealism about how people live in Northern Portugal, their relationship with their donkeys and the way they live with it. They are so musical that it is possible to manipulate without ever losing their essence...” (Tiago Pereira).
