- The Educational Archives.
(Usa, 2002-2003) [8 Dvd's agrupados en 2 series]

Ficha técnica (de la compilación).
Producción: James Healey, Ian Hendrie, Derrick Scocchera.
Productora: Fantoma.
Comentario. Interesante y no menos rara compilación de "cine efímero", material educativo y de propaganda realizado en los Estados Unidos durante las décadas de 1950 y 1960.
I.- Educational Archives: Limited Edition Lunchbox (4 DVD Box Set)
Generations of American children sat in dark classrooms and absorbed wisdom from 16mm educational films. Through the flicker of dim projector bulbs and the warble of optical soundtracks, a blueprint for better living in the atomic age was spelled out in no uncertain terms. This collection from the late 1940s to the 1980s is historical, hysterical, and filled with more important misinformation than you can digest in one viewing.
- Educational Archives #1: Sex and Drugs (1950's)
(Usa, 2001) [B/N-Color, 120 m.]
This campy collection takes 16 mm educational films of the 1950's and 1960's and compiles them to fascinating and amusing effect. This particular volume focuses on the scare films about the dangers of sex and drug use that were shown to schoolchildren all over America. Films about the dangers of LSD, heavy petting, pot smoking, and interacting between boys and girls are all included.
Contenidos:
"Know for sure" (1941, United States Public Health Service),
"Social-Sex Attitudes in Adolescence" (1953, narrada por Lorne Greene),
"Human Growth: Second Edition" (1962),
"LSD: Insight or Insanity" (1967, narrada por Sal Mineo),
"Narcotics: Pit of Despair" (1967),
"It’s Wonderful Being a Girl" (1968, Johnson & Johnson),
"Marijuana" (1968, narrada por Sonny Bono)",
"Case Study: Amphetamines" (1969, Lockheed Aircraft Corporation),
"Case study: barbiturates" (1969, Lockheed Aircraft Corporation),
"Case study : Heroin" (1969, Lockheed Aircraft Corporation),
"Case Study: LSD" (1969, Lockheed Aircraft Corporation) y
"The ABC's of Sex Education for Trainable Persons" (1975).
- Educational Archives #2: Social Engineering 101 (1950's)
(Usa, 2001) [B/N-Color, 120 m.]
This campy collection takes 16 mm educational films of the 1950's and 1960's and compiles them to fascinating and amusing effect. This volume focuses on the films which taught children basic, everyday school etiquette. Titles including "Manners in School," "The Outsider," "Soapy the Germ Fighter," and "Shy Guy" go over the do's and don't of keeping the school safe and clean and learning what is right and wrong.
Contenidos: "Lunchroom Manners", "Soapy the Germ Fighter", "The Outsider", "Why Doesn’t Cathy Eat Breakfast?" y "Shy Guy".
- Educational Archives #3: Driver's Ed (1940-80)
(Usa, 2002) [B/N-Color]
This campy collection takes 16 mm educational films of the 1940's and 1950's and compiles them to fascinating and amusing effect. This collection focuses on the films used to school high school students in the proper and safe ways of driving automobiles. In addition, they used over-the-top tactics to scare students about traffic accidents.
Contenidos: "The Last Run", "Joyride", "The Bottle and the Throttle, Safety Belt For Susie", "Tomorrow’s Drivers (narrado por Jimmy Stewart)" y "The Talking Car".
- Educational Archives #4: On the Job (1950's)
(Usa, 2002) [B/N_Color]
Now campy, then earnest, instructional films of the 1940's and the 1950's explore the intricacies of the American workplace. Teaching the dangers of water cooler gossip, the subtle art of firing employees without exposure to mortal danger, and cubicle safety, ON THE JOB is a hilarious bit of anthropological study.
Contenidos: "Shake Hands With Danger", "The Grapevine", "Promotion by-Pass", "The Trouble With Women", "How to Keep a Job" y "When You Grow Up".
II.- Educational Archives - School Locker (4 DVD Box Set)
Generations of American children sat in dark classrooms and absorbed wisdom in the form of 16mm educational and social guidance films. This particular volume focuses on reels made to promote the virtues of religion. Films such as "Door to Heaven," "Atomic Energy Can Be a Blessing," and "For Time or Eternity," aim to teach America's children about the secret to getting into heaven, the near heavenly gift of atomic energy, and the consequences of sin.
Contenidos: "Door to Heaven", "Atomic Energy Can Be A Blessing" (con Fred MacMurray), "Of Heaven and Home".
