Ha muerto a los 93 años Robert McNamara, secretario de Defensa norteamericano con Kennedy y Johnson y uno de los grandes arquitectos de la guerra de Vietnam. McNamara era uno de los "best and brightest", ésa élite de distinguidos intelectuales que fueron reclutados por JFK para ser la fuerza creativa de su Gobierno. Si es cierto que con la inteligencia viene incluida una cierta dosis de soberbia, no se puede negar que los hombres del presidente alcanzaron grandes cotas en ambos campos.
