[quote]Strange short film from French director Rollin has a man walking on a beach as we here a poem being read. This short is about loneliness and Rollin does a pretty good job at showing that. There's some nice atmosphere built by the director, although I'm really not sure how good the actual poem is. The poem becomes quite confusing and it's never too clear where it is going. There's some pretty good cinematography but the real key here is the infamous beach that the director has used in countless films including The Nude Vampire and Lips of Blood. This short is featured on Redemption's R1 release of Rollin's The Nude Vampire and is shown widescreen, in French with English subtitles. The white subtitles are at times hard to read due to the lower quality film elements they're shown against. This was Rollin's first directorial credit.
