Ripped and released by awesome@Karagarga. Hardsubbed in English (with rather poorly synched subs, courtesy of the owner of superhappyfun.com). I've also added a link to the English subs in the SRT format (I found them online a while ago)...
This obscure 1976 black & white documentary was director Mitsuo Yanagimachi's first film. It documents the exploits of the Japanese biker gang The Black Emperors. From their "club" meetings to some near rumbles with other bike gangs, the film crew is allowed into just about every aspect of the gang’s existence. Watching this film certainly shows the vast difference between Japanese bikers and American bikers, which happens to be a monumental difference, with the Japanese gangs seeming more like a social club than a lifestyle. Turned into a much sought after cult film thanks to the band of the same name, this subtle documentary is certainly deserving of it’s new found fame.

@alchemist&auess: Superhappyfun bootlegs do not have covers. The cover I've posted is from the official Japanese release. I got it from this webpage: http://store.yahoo.co.jp/esdigital/4562102156369.html. Sorry, I couldn't find anything with a better resolution...

@Trep: Yeah, I like a lot what's going on at KaraGarga. Many literate people there :-) But I still think it's important to share as much stuff as possible on eMule, since it makes the resources much more visible and accessible globally.

In general: I would personally not say that this movie is a masterpiece. It merely documents in a loose fashion, without ever transcending the subject. But it is certainly a testament of the epoch, and also quite distinctive visually (even though a large part of it is probably just due to the low-fi shooting)...
