Lang shan die xue ji (1936) aka The Wolf Hill

Director: Fei Mu
Screenwriter: Fei Mu, Shen Fu

Country: China
Language: Mandarin
Length: 69 min
Color: Black and White
imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0323015/
The last Fei Mu's film survived in this world. An incredible fable about wolves and peoples, invaders and resisters, starring Li Lili, one of the beautiful idol of chinese silent film era; and infamous Jiang Qing...so now you know what fate it had, banned and lost a long time even only very few people know this unusual film.

Excellent cinematography indeed.

(I can't find any useful info about this ultra unknown film on net... :()

IMDB user Comments: Mao's widow looked so pretty when she was young.

no wonder Mao chose her.

The literal translation of the title of this movie is: Blood spread at Mount Wolf.

Of course, Mao's wife Jiang Qing (with the permission and the help from Mao) was responsible for launching the catastrophic Cultural Revolution that ruined China, and as a result, she was deeply hated by every Chinese.

However, we are not here to discuss her crimes in her later years, but instead, just focus on the purely entertainment look of Jiang Qing's earlier years and it is highly recommended to watch this movie to see her in her early movie years when she was young.

As a side note, this movie was banned in China by Jiang Qing herself.

Thanks Auess! I previewed it and it looks beautiful -- and I can't wait to see that damn Jiang Qing in a bigger role than in "Two Chiao" :D What role is she in here?

Are you going to make the subs? (I'm interested too, of course :) )
And do you know which role played Jiang Qing in the film?

Thanks  .

Here are the subs for the film. In fact, it is the script, so they need to be synchronized.
Thanks prairi for the link, and, of course, auess for sharing it.

The link above is just for a part of the script of the film. And there is a mistake, the rest is for another film. auess had problems with his PC and couldn't got the complete script.

Anyway prairi has synchronized the part that is for this film, 23 minutes, and here is the link:
