Born Tianjin, China, June 15, 1957
Now artist, photographer video and film maker; regular member of the National Professional Artists' Association of Germany.
Awards:
1982-85 Two national awards for architectural design in China.
1990 Nominated for Bavarian government grant.
1991 Nominated as "Forum on Culture” artist by Munich Cultural Department.
1993 Bayerische Filmforderung award for the script "The Broken Moon”
1994 Highest award (Besonders Wertvoll) from Filmkuratorium Germany for "The Broken Moon, Germany"
1995 Special award for "The Broken Moon" at the international Film Festival in Bludenz, Austria.
1997 Kodak award Works of Excellence in China; nominated for the European Publishers Award for Photography 97.
My Comment:
One of the best short film I'v ever seen.
A entirely dreamily experience, illusionary cinematography, hallucinatory soundtrack...a greatest visual film from a beautiful chinese woman. Must see!
I heard about this little rare gem several years ago, been seeking for ages, now I got it.
