I don't know if it was here, but anyway it's worth even to remind:
Charles and Ray Eames are among the finest designers of the 20th century. They are best known for their groundbreaking contributions to architecture, furniture design, industrial design and manufacturing. The legacy of this husband and wife team includes more than 75 films that reflect the breadth and depth of their interests.

This dvd-rip contains "Powers of Ten" (1968, 9 min.), "A Rough Sketch for a Proposed Film Dealing with the Powers of Ten and the Relative Size of Things in the Universe" (8 min.), "901: After 45 Years of Working" (1989, 29 min.)

Powers of Ten
Probably the best known of the Eames Films, Powers of Ten refines and extends the journey of its predecessor by presenting it in color and in great scientific detail. Starting at a one meter square image of a picnic, the camera moves 10 times further away every 10 seconds, reaching to the edge of the universe; then the journey is reversed, going 10 times closer each ten seconds, ultimately reaching the interior of an atom.
Rough Sketch of a Proposed Film Dealing with the Powers of Ten and the Relative Size of Things in the Universe
Starting at a picnic, the camera zooms to the edge of the universe; then the journey is reversed, ultimately reaching the nucleus of an atom. Literally a sketch and essentially black-and-white, this is the first version of Powers of Ten. It is interesting to compare this version and the final.
901: after 45 years of working
A record of the Eames Office at 901 Washington Boulevard in Venice, California and a document of its closing. It uses the space as prism through to look at the Eameses’ life and work.

Sí, son los de las sillas, y alguna que otra casa,
entre ellas, la "Billy Wilder Chaise Longue":
Making movies is a grueling business. So hard working Academy Award-winning film director Billy Wilder occasionally needed a place to nap between takes. His friends, Charles and Ray Eames, were sympathetic. So much so that they designed the perfect place for a quick snooze. It's a beautiful place, too. Sweet dreams.
