Psalm 51 is a short experimental film combining improvisational dance with cinematic composition. Based on the scriptural passage, Psalm 51 is the filmmaker's own interpretation of spiritual darkness and light.
Kris Barberg is an independent filmmaker from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Her current 16mm film work is entitled "Psalm 51". "Psalm 51" is an experimental short film shot in black & white, featuring Minneapolis choreographer, Christa Hill.
This film is inspired by the Biblical passage of the same name, and combines improvisational dance with cinematic composition. "Psalm 51" has been featured in LunaFest, Damah Film Festival, The Ragamuffin Film Festival, Female Eye Film Festival & Anchorage Film Festival.
