Sho o suteyo machi e deyou (1971)
AKA: "Throw Away Your Books, Rally in the Streets"
Director: Shuji Terayama
Writing credits: Shuji Terayama
Genre: Anarchic Film / Surreal Film
Country: Japan
Language: Japanese
Length: 138 min
Color: Black and white / Color
imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0228853/
Review: sensesofcinema.com / thegline.com
STUNNING BEAUTIFUL, POWERFUL Cinematography, SUPERB Soundtracks. "Throw Away Your Books Rally in the Streets" is definitely one of the most "notorious" anarchic film in japanese cinema, but it's also the most innovative film in the 70s jp Avant-cinema. This is a nearly 2 and half hours visual trip, not good enough quality if make a 700m rip, so i chose AC3 and made this high-quality 2cd rips, We all dont wanna lose its superb dolby audio.
In this highly political Japanese film, a family's disintegration is shown as an analogy for the Japanese descent into heartless materialism. Though his family members have resigned themselves to their downward spiral both socially and economically, the son of the household has not. He is ambitious to attain something and to strike out on his own. What happens instead is that he grows increasingly disillusioned about his life and his world. — Clarke Fountain
i'v also added Shuji Terayama's 3 films chinese subtitles here, including my next ST release. sorry only chinese available, but if you can find some excellent translator, just take it.

Oh mama.
The subpack includes subs for this flick? If so I'll ask for a translation at ACF.

Hurdy the subpack includes, Farewell to the ark wich I believe is an upcoming release from auess, also subs for Pastoral: To die in the countryside and for this one trow away your books... If you could get all these subs translated WOW.. I would ask the pope for canonization

but really that would be amazing.

I think you have to be dead to be canonized...
A translation would be deeply apreciated but downloading it anyway.
Many thanks!

if somebody could send me .srt format subtitle, and a good software which can translate a whole chinese document into english well, maybe i could have a try, in any case i have chinese keyboard, but the problem is i dont know how to convert my .sub format sub to .srt format quickly. and i havent got a good program. i dont wanna translate these too long long dialogs sentence by sentence, with using my amateurish english, that'd be a NIGHTMARE...
