i'll share some bizarre animation shorts by Raoul Servais. He's amazing Belgian surreal animation precursor, from 1960 till now, he created only 12 short films, 1 feature film.

btw: I'm looking for his only feature film---Taxandria (1996), a fantastic surreal animation, 82 min. writed by French avant-garde author Alain Robbe-Grillet. i know it had VHS in Canada and Germany, so any chance by somebody will be appreciated.

Antes de que alguien comente nada del idioma, tengo que decir que he sido yo quien le ha dicho a auess que podía postear en inglés si quería en esta sección; así que si os parece mal la bronca me la teneis que echar a mí.

No sé cómo estarán estos cortos de calidad, pero tienen una pinta a-lu-ci-nan-te. Así q ni me lo pienso 1 segundo. Al saco que van ahora mismo!

But first i must to say the quality of asf files are not as good as you expect.

But if you have a software which can recode asf file, you can get a new quality asf file, then you can rip it into avi or meg file. i think it's ganna be better. BTW: do you know which software can recode the asf file?

Thanks a million auess. As you said it was absolutely impossible to find anything by Servais. I have no idea of how you could find Taxandria and I think it's not published in DVD. They say it's not as good as the shorts but must be worth seeing anyway, and the backgrounds were designed by comics artist Schuiten based in surrealistis painters, that must be really impressive. I watched a few seconds in tv and it almost killed me.

If you find it pleeeease post it here.

Uy, ya se me ha descargado The False Note. La calidad no es q sea una maravilla, pero se deja ver. x cierto, alguien sabe algo de lo que decía auess arriba de"recodificar un asf"?

Y otra cosa. No sé si no tiene sonido o si yo no tengo el códec necesario para oirlo.
Cuando lo bajeis ya me lo direis.

¿para qué queréis recodificar los archivos? cada vez que se recodifica se pierde calidad ¿no?

(a no ser que sea para aplicar algún filtro o algo así).

Me parece francamente indignante lo que está sucediendo aquí.
Yo pensaba que residía en un pais con una fronteras que hacian de filtro para que así todo lo que nos llegara, estuviera higienizado.
Pero veo que aquí cada uno como Pedro por su casa (usease, As Peter in his Home).

Espero que la calidad de los cortos puedan subsanar la ofensa.
