Young Ideas (1943) es una comedia simplona en torno a una célebre escritora, en la plenitud de su éxito, que desaparece. Su editor descubre que se ha enamorado y casado con un profesor de química en un remoto pueblo, y decide enviar a los dos hijos de ella para que se encarguen de destruir ese matrimonio y que ella regrese a la editorial y siga produciendo dinero. Como ya he comentado en alguna ocasión, Dassin definía su periodo en la metro con estas palabras: "Esclavitud bajo contrato. Sólo me especialicé en mierda." Y la película que hoy os traigo tampoco es que contenga nada destacable, es correcta en su insipidez, estereotipos y filmación.
