Little baby bird Pippo falls behind his flock on their way south for the winter and lands in the chimney of little girl dog Lotte. Lotte decides that Pippo must be taken south to be reunited with his flock. Lotte's father, Oskar the inventor, has just finished building a flying machine. Oskar's friend, the old traveler dog Klaus, is invited along on the trip. The exciting journey south begins. New adventures and encounters await our travelers in each episode of the serial. Many of these new acquaintances have run into difficulties and the travelers help them.

The animated film "The Year of the Monkey" is a story of a monkey who lives in a zoo and, as chance would have it, is forced to start living like a human being. The monkey is mistaken for a drunken Santa Claus who got lost and ended up in the zoo, and he is taken away for treatment of alcohol abuse. There all the monkey's hairs are shaved off, after which he outwardly seems to be a proper citizen. Human society quickly accepts its new member, the shaved monkey, and the monkey becomes an honoured public figure.

A mí siempre me dan mucha envidia estas cosas, porque veo que la gente se lo baja todo, y yo, cuando no hay subtítulos, me tengo que aguantar. ¿Cuán importantes son los subtítulos para ver estos cortos?

es muy posible que estos cortos ni siquiera tengan dialogo o el dialogo sea muy reducido. Si ves que tiene exceso de dialogo y no te enteras de nadas, pues lo has intentado, son cortometrajes no largometrajes, acabn enseguida

Pues "LOTTE JOURNEY SOUTH " si tiene dialogos y parecen necesarios subtitulos para su perfecta compresion. En cambio "THE YEAR OF THE MONKEY " no tiene ningun dialogo.
