Some Infos
A mad house sets the scene for a game of fleshy cut and paste that makes the Island of Dr. Moreau look like Club Med.
If you've dreamed of looking like a mutant (and who hasn't?), sacrifice yourself to these characters' scalpels.

Creator: Yasuo Ohba
Style: Abstract / Experimental / 3D Computer Animation
Detail Informations
This computer graphics work, "Anjyu," refers to its composited layers of calmness. It reflects the Ohba's feelings and emotions during creation.

Not intended to emulate any one thing in nature, this piece is evocative of watching dancing cilia, joyful fibers or a scrub brush on ecstasy. This procedural animation is pure mathematics as art, a meditative journey into soft, flowing calmness. Derived from complex algorithms, which were then manipulated with a custom program to control the color and appearance of the "characters," this piece is accompanied only by a gentle piano line.

Harvey (2001)
Australia | 11:00
Creator: Peter McDonald
Style: Horror / Surreal
IMDB
Awards:
Best Live Action Film under 15', Student Category (Palm Spring International Festival of Short Film, USA - 2001)
Harvey is an ambitious project, combining cutting edge digital compositing/ animation techniques with a poetic metaphorical tail about loneliness and incompleteness. The main character, Harvey, has been cut brutally in half from head to groin, down the centre of his body, yet he remains very much alive. The film follows the macabre results of his obsessive relationship with his mysterious neighbour.Combinations of actors shot with blue chroma make-up, heavy inferno mat work and the insertion of 3D geometry using softimage where all used to create the fantastically surreal and macabrely horrifying images in this film. Copyright held by creator.

A dark tale of obsession and loneliness. It is the story of a man desperately searching for completeness not only physically but also emotionally. It is only when he thinks he has achieved this goal through the unwilling coalescence of his neighbour that he begins to understand the painful, irresolvable nature of his obsession.

8O Oiss...qué buena pinta tiene esto, no?
CLICK!

Btw, Auess, don´t U think it should be better to share all this shorts together in a .rar file?
I think they will spread quicklier and there won´t be problems of A4AF.
Many shorts of Sounds&Imageries Collection were quite difficult to get because of that. Well, it´s just my opinion. Of course, you can do what you like most.
Thx anyway for all these links.

But the rar files, lauri, have the complication of distribution. Remember the bill viola's rar file, with an unique source.
I think that the best possibility is that it would be united in a big avi.

Despite that, thanks, auess :D

auess, it's not necessary that you rip "Anjyu". People can download it from here:

http://www.archive.org/movies/details-d ... 8_06_anjyu

I downloaded it some time ago and the quality is good enough. :)

Thanks for everything else. Looks fine as hell (the short of the guy torn in half was really twisted, I'll be happy to watch it again).

En lengua vernácula: que el corto citado se puede bajar en la página citada y así quitarle a auess el trabajo de capturarlo y distribuirlo. Es un corto abstracto bonito, la típica japonesada del Siggraph.

Why *.avi? is there any difference with *.rar regarding to the distribution? As long as they have similar size, and they´re just one unique file... easy to handle but hard to get
