Aprovecho que hay circulando por la mula tres archivos grandes con casi toda la producción de Garry Bardin para publicar este recopilatorio. Con este post juntamos los cuatro posts anteriores dedicados a cortos individuales del autor posteados por Gilliam, Dek y Paula 1926. Mil gracias a todos.

De todas formas circulan muchas copias de los cortos de Bardin y algunas son de mejor calidad que el ripeo posteado arriba.
En los casos en que el mejor archivo es la recopilación de cortos, he cortado con el virtualdubmod el archivo correspondiente. Indico en cada caso si se trata de un fragmento del dvdrip o si es un archivo que procede de otra fuente.
Hay unos cuantos cortos más que no figuran en la recopilación, pero sí se encuentran en la mula. Lo indico por si alguien prefiere bajarse los recopilatorios y el resto suelto.
A disfrutar todos de uno de los animadores más maravillosos que tenemos. Ay de los afortunados que pudieron ver su obra completa en Animadríd el año pasado.
Filmografía
Todavía falta por publicar enlaces a varios de los cortos. Dadme un poco de tiempo que acabo en breve. Estoy revisando cada copia que tengo, comparándola con las otras, y viendo que los audios no estén desincronizados.

Otro corto de Bardin en la mula (y ya quedan poquitos por aparecer), ganador de la palma de oro en Cannes al mejor corto. La animación en mediante stop motion utilizando alambre, con unos resultados bastante expresivos teniendo en cuenta el material. Ripeo aceptable y sin diálogos.

"If you've seen the work of Nick Park (Wallace and Grommit, Chicken Run) you will have a good idea of the style used here. Park is even credited with supplying the plasticine! The American cat is dropped by plane in a muddy field in Russia, where he meets Karabasov, a drunk, and offers to take him to America in return for his boots. The cat flies by using his tail as a propeller and they set off. Unfortunately, they only get as far as France, where they have some humourous adventures before they fall out and the cat sends Karabasov back to Russia.
"The animation is extremely well done, easily the equal of Park, and the story is nicely paced. Karabasov speaks no English and the cat speaks no Russian, but they understand each other and it's very easy for speakers of either language to follow the plot. It's a shame this has not been more widely shown."

He encontrado recientemente una de las últimas obras del bueno de Bardin, es animación en stop-motion con papel. Ripeo de calidad y sin diálogos, lo pongo en lanzamiento ya mismo.
A grey anonymous mob wanders aimlessly through a storm. Suddenly a bright white human form appears among them. The hateful mob at first tries to destroy it but, after his resurrection, starts worshipping it, although no one seems to learn from this call for tolerance.

KOT V SAPOGAH - PUSS IN BOOTS (1995)
Uno de los cortos más divertidos que jamás he encontrado en la mula.
Como indica el título, es El Gato con Botas de Charles Perrault de toda la vida... o algo así. Empieza con unos campesinos en la estepa rusa, poniéndose ciegos de vodka. En esto que saltan de alegría: un avión de ayuda americano, tirándoles televisores SONY. Pero el pobre Karavasov, demasiado trompa para levantarse, se queda con lo último: un gato callejero envuelto en una bandera de EEUU... y para que no se manche de barro, le pone sus botas. Y el gato empezará a hacer realidad sus deseos...Demencial versión del cuento infantil con alusiones políticas ("¡Ich bin ein communist!") que se pueden interpretar de mil maneras, y que en ningún momento da ninguna pista de qué es lo que va a pasar al siguiente minuto. Lo más logrado es el diálogo: el gato habla en inglés... y Karavasov en ruso. Y le roi habla en francés, y Herr Kaput en alemán.
Y NO hay subtítulos, y sus juro que da igual, se entiende todo perfectamente, pues esa era la intención de poner diálogo en cuatro idiomas. Captura de calidad buena. A ratos no podía reírme más.Kot.V.Sapogah.(Garri.Bardin).avi 108 Mb. 27 minutos.

CHUCHA 2 (2002)
Estos dos cortos, en el mismo archivo, son dos películas infantiles al parecer hechas para la televisión francesa. Un niño pequeño, triste en navidad, se construye un amigo con retales para vivir fabulosas aventuras. Poético, bonito y tal vez un poco simple, no es prodigio de imaginación, pero por la animación y por algunos detalles merece totalmente la pena. La captura es pasable.

Mola lo mismo, y mola mucho, que es una cena elegante en la que no vemos a los comensales: los cubiertos y la comida se mueven solos. Lógicamente se va liando el rosario de la aurora.
