1. El Hombre que quiso conocerlo todo:

This first segment of a three-part series on Leonardo da Vinci follows the artist from his illegitimate birth in 1452 to the unveiling of his masterpiece, The Last Supper, in 1498. Leonardo came to Florence as a boy and was apprenticed to a master craftsman, Andrea Verrocchio, who according to da Vinci’s biographer was so impressed with the young artist’s work that he gave up painting. It was during this time that Leonardo survived arrest and possible burning at the stake (under suspicion of homosexuality) to win the patronage of the powerful Duke of Milan, Ludivico Sforzo. Although much of Leonardo’s work was left unfinished, his notebooks reveal the incredible workings of his mind as he attempted in his experiments to gain knowledge of the entire world. He was the first to understand how the human eye works, and the first to properly dissect a human body. And he was a practical engineer as well. This film tests his designs by building and trying out two of his inventions: an armoured vehicle for warfare and a parachute.

2. Dangerous Liaisons:

This second episode of the series follows Leonardo as he moves from Milan to the patronage of the bloody warlord, Cesare Borgia. To please his tyrannical patron, Leonardo creates armoury, maps and war machines instead of paintings. He also becomes the bitter rival of Michelangelo, who was chosen over Leonardo to create a sculpture of the biblical David in Florence. Focusing again on his anatomical research, Leonardo dissects human bodies and makes discoveries about embryology and heart disease hundreds of years before anyone else. But his paranoia and secrecy ensured that his discoveries would remain unknown. With nature as his guide, Leonardo designed a glider and robot, and suggested a new arena for war with his underwater diving suit. With the help of experts, this film attempts to build and test all three.

A mí tambien me interesa saber los idiomas del dual.
Existen 3 documentales MUY BUENOS hace meses.
Saluditos,
