An Absoluten Feast to the senses and mind, A Chef d'oeuvre

A director shoots an experimental film about man and his origins on a nudist beach.

What the audience is privileged to view is an array of the most astute observations of human behaviour in the most witty and comical way.

This film is so beautifully cut, both sound and picture editing are totally excellent.

Although the acting is superb, I cannot imagine many actors making a mess of it under the direction of Vera Chytilova.

This is an absolute masterpiece and if i said anymore i would be spoiling it for everyone. Not because of some plot detail or some such, but because it is so fresh and alive, that i simply do not wish to spoil this by pointing out particular scenes just to justify my point of view.

Please, see this film. It doesn't matter if you can only see it without subtitles, there is always Mahler to carry you through the most delightful cinematography ever.

Must go and see it again and again and again.

A filmmaker has to deal with obnoxious producers, uncooperative weather, and a troublesome cast — not all of whom have opposable thumbs — in this satiric comedy-drama. Rosta (Boleslav Polivka) is a director whose latest project is an ambitious film that draws parallels between the lives of humans and animals, and as illustration he's cast the members of a local nudist colony, who are to interact naked with a group of apes. However, the cold weather doesn't do much for the esprit de corps of his human cast, while the primates predictably refuse to take direction. Meanwhile, Rosta's backers are demanding more comic relief, the screenwriter argues for a more emotional approach, and Rosta's family shows up unannounced, getting in the way despite their best intentions. Vyhnani z Raje was directed by veteran filmmaker Vera Chytilova and was screened at the 2001 Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Czech Republic. — Mark Deming

quality is so so since it's a tvrip and the whole film is shot by a DV. the subtitles i dont know yet, cause i can only preview the first 3 min but in this period it's no any dialog...
my mule found 1 full source, i think from US due to his ip address. and several nearly finished sources.

That´s right, it seems really interesting, but are there any kind of subtitles in spanish or in english anywhere??? if there aren´t I won´t download it, cause i can´t speak Czech

No hardcoded subs.

Los trocitos que he visto no llevan subs incrustados. Aun así creo que merece la pena. Y nunca se sabe cuando pueden aparecer subs.

Gracias, Jacob. Pero, ¿eso quiere decir que en los trocitos que has visto, no había diálogos? Si en unos días puedes previsualizar más y encuentras subs, a ver si puedes avisarnos, que me interesa mucho esta película (pero me interesa también enterarme de algo!!!)

Sí, los trozos que he visto (estoy viendo ahora mismo) tienen diálogos. Y si no es checo se le parece mucho.
