This is the incredibly rare 5 1⁄2 hour Apocalypse Now!! Forget about the Redux, this is the real deal, the true, full-fledged vision of one of the greatest films ever made.

Taken from a rare workprint of the film, this one of a kind experience gives you a chance to see Coppola’s vision when it was still forming. This is not the polished, ready-made movie we are used to seeing. This is the rough around the edges, uncut first draft of a film that would go on to change the course of film making as we know it.

In many ways, this is almost a completely different movie, complete with some new characters, new events and new, gloomy fates for a few of the cast. Gone is the familiar Carmine Coppola score that sets the doom-like tone of the film, instead there are miscellaneous Doors songs used to fill in the blank sound spots. For fans of this film, this 2-disc set is a Godsend, a revelation of newfound importance and interest that only adds to the pleasure of watching Apocalypse Now in any form.

As you can see quality is not pristine, but this will never have an official release, this is the type of material that should not ever seen the light of day.

But in top of the page appears the dvd cover... If itsn't been released in dvd never then how can appears the dvd cover? It's sold in the online shops? Last question: any subtitles?

it's a DVDr copy a VHS to DVDr transfer bought in 5minutestolive. And has you can imagine a bootleg copy does not bring subtitles in separate files.

Dios, el corte grueso. Hace año que vengo escuchando sobre el. Fanático como soy de la peli, tengo la original y a ReduX ( puaj!!!) en DVD y sólo me falta esta. Repinchada, aunque en pausa a la espera de más fuentes.

really, it not takes much time to download and the quality is equal I can garante that. Just imagine if everyone camed jumping and ask the same? If I say yes to you I should say yes to them aswell, can you comprehend my side? But if you are unable to download in emule, I can upload it to you, on a download program you regular use or even in IRC that is not troubling to me. After downloading you can easily convert it to a dvd, if you own a dvd burner. If this doesnt satisfy you please email me at my msn mail available here, maybe we can reach an agreement that not involves money.

a este paso aparecerán en la mula cosas como el Avaricia de 8 horas, la Reina Kelly completa, el Kapital y la Tercera parte de Iván el Terrible de Eisenstein, la segunda parte de El Sur de Erice, el Viaje de Mastorna, el San Pablo de Pasolini, el Cristo de Dreyer, el Napoleón de Kubrick. Completado el "CD" 1, vamos a por el 2. La calidad del video es nefasta (¿qué son esas manchas en la lente que aparecen en la primera captura que has puesto

?) y el audio peor, pero eso sí, este mamotreto es la mar de coleccionable.
