A 1960's psychadelic trip by famous director Vicente Aranda. In the tradition of surreal Spanish cinema, a la Luis Buñuel.

Gim is a beautiful fashion model whose life is in peril. There is a homicidal killer who seek to murder her only Gim is totally unaware of her danger. The only person who seems to be sure that the killer will strike is a professor at a local collage. A police detective also believes the killer will strike but knows not the killer nor the victim. Upon speaking to the professor he has the victims identity and must find her in the mostly deserted city populated by a small group of unusual people who attempt to thwart his search.

A very strange and avant-garde thriller from Vicente Aranda the director of the highly acclaimed horror film La Novia Ensangrentada (The Blood-splattered Bride). With this, his first film, Aranda chose to use elements of giallo films (a unknown murder stalking victims and killing with a strange device) that were just starting to become popular in Europe and mix in a large amount of experimental surrealism similar to fellow Spanish language film maker Luis Buñuel. Cast in the lead role is the beautiful Teresa Gimpera who was best known to Spanish audiences at the time for her work as a model for TV and print advertising.

por fin aparece algo de nuevo cine español. El Festival de cine de Gijón dedicó el año pasado una retrospectiva a este corriente y se pudieron ver cosas muy curiosas.
A ver si van apareciendo más cosas, de momento creo que solo andan por ahí 1,2,3 al escondite inglés y la caza de Saura

Many thanks for this one auess! I had been looking fot it for a long time but was only able to find the Herzog's one of the same name. "Escuela de Barcelona" on its more pure form- I saw it recently on a Fantastic MovieMarathon and some aspects of the movie have aged not very well specially the lustful talking truck trying to seduce Gim and a metaphysical conversation of the professor with Gim in a swing which made all the people on the cinema really laugh, but the movie is extremely weird and worth seeing.

Despite of Aranda makes me headache, "Fata Morgana" sounds really good. And considering that its was release in him youth, it can be, at least, diferent that the thing that he is doing nowadays.

Estaría encantado de trabajarme un VHSRip, si es que sigue sin haber fuentes y si estáis interesados en la copia limpia sin subs.
Antes me gustaría saber si este ripeo es un VHSRip y si está en 4:3 ó 16:9, para no ofrecer una copia de peor calidad.
