Sinopsis (Culturalia):
El científico Zac Hobson experimenta con una fuente de energía de extraordinario poder: un cinturón de fuerza que rodearía todo el planeta. Pero el experimento sale mal y el cinturón acaba sin dejar ni rastro de los seres vivos del planeta. Aunque al principio se desespera pensando que es el único hombre que queda vivo sobre la faz de la Tierra, pronto localiza más supervivientes en Nueva Zelanda.

In a tour-de-force sci-fi story with only three main characters, Kiwi director Geoffrey Murphy creates an interesting dynamic nuanced with shades of mysticism. When scientist Zac Hobson (Bruno Lawrence) experiments with a radical new power source -- a band of energy that would circle the planet -- the project goes awry and apparently wipes out all living creatures (they vanish without a trace). At first Zac adjusts by indulging himself in some of his materialistic desires, but he soon starts a serious search for other signs of human life. He discovers it in New Zealand in the form of Joanne (Alison Routledge), with whom he falls in love, and Api (Peter Smith), a Maori. The challenges the three face in order to survive, as well as their personal interactions, keep this human drama engrossing.

La están compartiendo en VeryCD y baja como una flecha: ¡pinchad ya!
Gracias a Mozzer por hacerme ver que había unos subs por ahí (ni me había molestado en mirar, oye, descreído que es uno). Son amateurs y deben de estar hechos a oído, poque mientras los ajustaba he visto lo que claramente era un error de interpretación fonética (y gordo).
Por cierto, los he tenido que resincronizar a saco porque no bastaba con un cambio de FPS o un adelanto/atraso; he mirado en varios puntos de la peli y parecen ir medianamente bien, pero no garantizo nada.
