Super Glue (2001)
A man hawks tubes of super glue in the subway. When his demonstration fails, he hesitates before starting again, not wishing to be ridiculed. When he finally succeeds, the police chase after him. This gem of a comic portrayal of illegal peddlers on the subway is filled with hope: «We have absolutely no explanation of why we live this life. Yet unless we try to make it better, it will be continuous agony.

Why Do I Want To Be A Boxing Referee? (2000)
Nine year-old Jin-soo wants to be a boxing referee and doubts who his real father is. He is sure that his 'boxing blood' came from his genuine father, one of three boxers from his mother's past. Although Jin-soo knows the truth he decides not to reveal it, and to leave his life the way it is now.
DIRECTOR'S NOTE:
Through the wild imagination of an 8 year old boy, I wanted to reveal the audience's flow of thinking. If the audience could be persuaded by the boy's imagination, which his father is not his real father and his mother might have had an affair with other man, it may prove that we are living in an unhealthy society. But, if the audience could find a small smile on their lips, that means our society stills has warmth in its corner.

To The Spring Mountain (2002)
Two women, the daughter and the mom, climb up the unknown mountain, with the dead body of the father. The father’s last words was to bury him at somewhere in the unknown mountain. Unfortunately, the mountain is prohibited by law from burial, because the site is now the army operation area. On their way, the coffin gets broken into pieces, and the carrier disappears. The journey doesn’t flow quite fair and easy. Finally, they arrive at the site the father told them.
No one knows what awaits there.
DIRECTOR’S NOTE
I wanted to talk about the peculiarity of the meaning of “family”. At some point in your life, you think that you can never reconcile with your family. But, you also get to know the fact that you’ve got to live with them and you love them in spite of all the troubles. In this film, two women climb up a mountain with the father’s dead body. The dead body could be metaphor for anything you feel as your burden in your life. And you know there are some burdens you never be able to face away from it. At here, it’s your own father. That’s life.

Tuning In Silence (2001)
A deaf boy Jee-min has lived with his mother in a redevelopment area.
He, who has never heard sound, only feels the movements of things and gazes at everything around him with full of curiosity.
One day he followed a kite cut off from the string only to wander in the middle of downtown. Back home with the kite in his hand, he finally seems to find his own way to feel sound.
