rare mono-versions, released in the USA in 1964!
The main difference are: I´ll Cry Instead was edited to make it
longer. The first verse was repeated towards the end. And the US
mono-mix of Anytime At All has the piano mixed down low in the
instrumental break.// /

recorder (hence the sound). But it is charming nonetheless to hear
him play an acoustic version of one of his most beautiful ballads/

/Well, here are some more unreleased mixes of Beatles-songs
(stereo and mono) from the 60´s
The first one is a true stereo mix from 1965. But the song only
come out in mono. The Word is spread here in a very and powerful
mis taken from the US-edition of Rubber Soul. Tracks 22-23 are
work in progress mixes. Run For Your Life has a different
Lennon-Vocal, In My Life is adomed here with an organ solo. We Can
Work It Out has only a single tracked McCartney Vocal/

A blistering live version of Revolution is next. When the Beatles
made a promo film for this song at Twickeham Studios in London,
they sang to a pre-recorded backing track
Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da is basically the same version as Anthology 3 but
here is a different mix

alternate mix with more emphasis on his double-tracked vocal./

/Like the previous track this is not a really Beatles recording.
This recording of other musicians supplying bass, lead guitar and
piano to Ringo´s 29 April vocal recording and drumming was
necessary because Ringo was to appear on a George Martin
TV-Special and due to union laws it has to be live./
