Sinopsis:
Hollywood, 1950. El exitoso productor Larry O'Brian llega a Los Angeles para fundar una empresa cinematográfica. Compra un viejo estudio que no había producido nada desde la época del cine mudo; y le muestran la oficina donde el famoso director Franklin Farrara recibió un disparo. El caso no ha sido resuelto hasta ahora, aunque hubo muchos sospechosos. O'Brian queda fascinado por el tema y quiere rodar una película sobre esto, investiga y pronto se mete en peligro.
