Sinopsis
Inexplicablemente, los habitantes de un apacible pueblo pierden el conocimiento durante unas horas. Poco después se produce otro extraño e inquietante fenómeno que parece estar relacionado con aquel desmayo: muchas mujeres del pueblo descubren que están encintas. Agentes del gobierno supervisan estos embarazos para investigar si existe o no tal relación. Cuando las madres dan a luz, resulta que curiosamente todos los recién nacidos son albinos y tienen unos intensos ojos azules, además de una increíble inteligencia; pero a medida que crecen muestran una conducta tan sobrenatural como inhumana.
