Sinopsis
Un joven y conservador abogado (Robert Redford) es la quintaesencia de la sensatez y el sentido común. En cambio, su esposa (Jane Fonda) es un poco alocada y sólo piensa en pasárselo lo mejor posible. Ambos se enamoran al instante y se casan de inmediato; pero la dura realidad (un quinto piso sin ascensor, un apartamento como una caja de cerillas) hace que la pasión y la armonia se resientan. Deliciosa adaptación de un gran éxito de Broadway de Neil Simon. Narra las desventuras de una pareja de recién enamorados de caracteres muy diferentes... y con un vecino muy particular -maravilloso Charles Boyer-. Una comedia romántica divertida y con mucho encanto.
