Busco una película y sólo tengo estas pistas...

La pelicula que busco es la siguiente:
Trata de un robo. Los ladrones fingen que van a rodar una película para que los habitantes de un pueblo les ayuden a descargar el oro de los unos barcos. El problema es que todo el pueblo quiere salir en la pelicula y se tienen que inventar escenas. Se producen varios momentos disparatados.
¿Alguien me puede ayudar?

Parece que tarkovstalker ha dado de pleno y puesto que al revisar en los ripeos que teníamos de Vittorio De Sica
no estaba publicada en DXC he tenido a bien traerme el hilo que el compañero hammett publicó en Noirestyle, un DVDRip VOSE que cuenta con fuentes todavía, y juntar a Peter Sellers, Victor Mature haciendo el cafre bajo la tutela de un Director como De Sica merece echarle un ojo, aunque puede ser un experimento altamente "complejo"

Aquí traigo una muy divertida comedia de De Sica que utiliza el mundo del cine para reirse de algunos de los tópicos del cine neorrealista y del cine "intelectual" en particular. Tiene una estupenda interpretación de Peter Sellers como el ladrón/director y un Victor Mature con la capacidad de reirse de si mismo sin ningún tipo de verguenza. Hacia el final de la película hay un gag impagable a costa de los críticos de cine. Muy recomendable.

Sinopsis:
Peter Sellers plays Aldo Vanucci (aka the Fox), one of the greatest criminals of the world, and master of disguise. After Aldo escapes from the Italian prison he was held in, he meets again with his friends, and plans to retrieve the "gold of Cairo" a large shipment of gold, that waits to be unloaded somewhere in Italy. Aldo devices the perfect plan. Posing as a famous director, he finds the ideal coastal village to unload the shipment, and persuades the entire population that he has chosen their village as the set for his new movie. Everybody, including the idiot chief of the local police is so excited, that they can't even imagine that in fact they are helping the Fox to get the "gold of Cairo"....
