SINOPSIS: Eddie Spanier (Robert Stack) llega a Tokio en el momento en que dos asesinatos mantienen en vilo a la policía local. Una de las víctimas es su amigo Webber, que, al parecer, murió acribillado por sus compañeros de banda, una organización criminal dirigida por Sandy Dawson (Robert Ryan). Eddie decide ganarse la confianza de Dawson para infiltrarse en la banda. Para ello cuenta con la ayuda de Mariko (Shirley Yamaguchi), la viuda de Webber, que se hará pasar por su amante.
