Comentario: Una de los grandes títulos de cine musical que, a pesar de su endeble trama argumental, nos ofrece una memorable serie de interpretaciones de jazz, entre las que destaca la versión de Lena Horne de la canción que da título al film, sin olvidar las actuaciones de Cab Calloway, Katherine Dunham, Fats Waller, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, The Nicholas Brothers, Ada Brown y el saxofonista Coleman Hawkins.
